Property Geology and Mineralization
The Clover Property is located in the historic Midas Mining District, which has been producing gold and silver since the early 1900s, and is found along the northeast trending Getchell Trend that bridges the northwestern ends of the Carlin and Battle Mountain Trends and contains Nevada Gold’s active T urquoise Ridge Mine, the third largest gold mine in the United States with 537,000 ounces of gold production reported in 2020, as well as the T win Creeks open pit mines and the dormant Pinson and Getchell mines. The Getchell Fault, one of the most prominent structural features of the region, generally strikes north-south to north-northwest, and plays a significant role in controlling mineralization and the distribution of rock types.
